Street flooding has been common in Regina overnight, and this afternoon, thanks to some long-needed rain. Winds reached 90km/h overnight, and knocked some greenery over.
The Army and Navy store was replaced with a Tim Hortons. The new building includes perhaps half of the concrete part of the structure from the old Army and Navy store, or so it appeared to me while construction was underway.
No idea who they were, but our paths crossed several times over the course of the hour I was downtown, and they were pretty outgoing each time I saw them.
If you look carefully, it appears that they are adding a glass-windowed extension in the middle in contrast to the traditional look the rest of the building has.
