I'm getting a little weary of blowing snow.

I will be shovelling my driveway again; there is two feet of snow in it already.

This is what I wished it looked like now.

Thin Ice

I took this pic because it occurred to me that this guy seems to be doing pretty well for falling through thin ice. Barely an ankle getting wet there. Still, I didn't venture out onto the lake.

The Willow

The Willow is a restaurant located in the park. The sign is nice, and I think the interior is nice, but the smell coming out of the back end into the park isn't always so nice.

For awhile we had some really nice, big fluffy snowflakes falling.

This guy apparently didn't care that the lake was still frozen. He complained a lot (noisy bird!) though.

Peppers

I was leaving the grocery store, and noticed that a woman had dropped these behind her SUV. I picked them and tried to give them to her, but she refused them. Waste not, want not... they'll be in my supper tonight.

Finally!

It is finally above freezing outside. It seems like it took forever this year. I was so happy I ran around Wascana Park twice today!
